Plain answers about
your data.
What this website collects, why, who else is involved, and how to change your mind. Written to be read, not skimmed past.
LAST UPDATED 7 OCTOBER 2026Who we are
This website, mcartus.com, is run by MCARTUS TECHNOLOGIES PVT. LTD., a software engineering company at Silviana, Pancard Club Road, Baner, Pune, Maharashtra 411045, India. When this policy says "we", it means that company.
This policy covers the website only. Work we do for clients is governed by the agreement for that project.
What we collect
What you choose to send us
Our enquiry forms do not store anything on this website. When you press the button, the details you typed (such as your name, email, phone number and a description of your idea) open as a ready-to-send message in WhatsApp or in your own email app. Nothing reaches us until you press send there.
If you book a call, the booking is taken by Calendly, which collects the name and email you enter and shares the booking with us.
What is collected automatically
With analytics on, we receive usage information that does not name you: the pages you view, roughly where you are (city or region, worked out from your IP address), the device and browser you use, how you arrived, and actions such as clicking a button, opening a question or playing the video. We deliberately do not send names, emails, phone numbers or the text of your message to our analytics.
Our hosting provider also keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and requested page) to deliver the site and keep it secure.
Services we rely on
These companies process data on our behalf or receive it directly from you when you use the site. Each has its own privacy policy.
| SERVICE | WHAT IT DOES HERE |
|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Hosts and delivers the website, protects it from abuse, and counts visits and page speed with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify you. |
| Google Analytics | Measures visits and actions on the site, subject to your choice above. |
| Google Fonts | Serves the typefaces. Your browser requests them from Google, which sees your IP address. |
| Calendly | Shows the booking calendar and takes consultation bookings. |
| Carries your enquiry if you choose to send it that way. |
Some of these providers process data outside India. We do not sell personal data to anyone.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare a proposal and arrange a consultation.
- To understand which pages and campaigns are useful, so we can improve the site.
- To keep the site secure and working.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations where they apply.
We rely on your consent for analytics, on your request when you contact us, and on our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and bookings: for as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of our dealings with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or the law requires longer.
- Analytics: event data is kept in Google Analytics for up to 14 months, then only as totals that cannot be traced to a visitor.
- Hosting logs: kept briefly by our hosting provider for security.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, withdraw your consent to analytics at any time, and raise a complaint with us. Depending on where you live, laws such as India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act or the GDPR may give you further rights, including complaining to your data protection authority.
To use any of these, email us from the address the request relates to. We will respond as soon as we reasonably can.
This website is meant for businesses and founders. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
